First, after palm fruits are pressed and digested, the mixture that emerges contains oil, water and solid impurities. The mixture enters the oil clarification tank, where it separates naturally under the influence of gravity. The lighter palm oil floats to the top, while water and solids impurities sink which will be transported to sludge oil pit regularly.

And, the lighter crude palm oil will be pumped into rotary vibrating screen to filter, then go into large vertical clarification tanks. Here the crude palm oil will be sinked and become clear oil and sludge oil.

Large vertical clarification tanks

The sludge crude palm oil accumulated at the bottom of the vertical clarification tank is filtered by multi-stage oil cyclone, then into three-phase decanter centrifuge, for getting oil, water and sludge. The three things will be treated by muti-stage different process to recycle oil in them.

Recycled crude palm oil will go into oil clarification tank and be filtered and recycled again with fresh crude palm oil together.

The clear crude palm oil in large vertical clarification tanks will be vacuum dehydrated and pumped into oil tanks for storage.
