Palm oil production from oil plam, the oil palm tree is the most efficient oil crop in terms of land use. It has the highest yield compared to other oil crops per hectare of land. About one quarter of palm oil production worldwide is used domestically, three quarters is exported. Asia, the European Union and Africa are the main importers of palm oil
